We have some practical tips to ensure you don't have any worries or concerns during the race weekend and can focus on what's happening on the track.
Please note that you are officially not allowed to bring any food or alcohol onto the COTA circuit. The exception is one bottle of drink (0.6 litres max.) per person.
However, the checkers at the entrance tend to be more benevolent on Fridays and Saturdays, so you can try to bring a small refreshment to the circuit. However, you will always run the risk of ending up in the bin if you are detected. Then on Sunday, the situation is stricter.
There are a huge number of stalls and food trucks on the circuit itself. The offer is primarily focused on typical American fast food like burgers, chicken wings and fries.

Before you head out to the circuit, make sure you have all the information you need saved on your phone; from tickets to maps and information about your favourite driver. There is a risk that the mobile networks may be overloaded at the circuit and you may not have a data connection, especially on Sundays.
So, you may not be able to call your friends. If you want to meet anyone on Sunday, always arrange a time and place to meet beforehand. just like in the old days when there were no mobile phones.
During the F1 weekend at COTA, daytime temperatures can range from 60 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately 18-24 degrees Celsius). However, be aware that temperatures can fluctuate throughout the day, so participants should be prepared for fluctuations.
Wind speeds at COTA during the F1 weekend are usually moderate, but gusts may occur, especially during thunderstorms or passing weather systems. Winds can affect outdoor activities and may affect track conditions.
If you want up-to-date weather information, we recommend using the Windy app.
