CAMPING

Camping at COTA during the F1 weekend can be a fantastic experience for fans who want to fully immerse themselves in the race atmosphere. 

If you want to take the stress out of travelling during the F1 race at COTA, then taking advantage of the adjacent campsites is a great option. Camping at race tracks is a great tradition in America, and this is no different at COTA.

Official on-site camping options

The COTA circuit offers two official on-site camping options: Premium RV Camping and Dry Camping in Lot N.

Premium RV Camping 

This is for campers who have their own RV (recreational vehicle). Entry to the 1 RV campground costs around $10,000 - yes, it's a hefty sum, but note that you'll be parking your RV de facto alongside the track and if you're able to watch the race from the roof of your RV, you'll have a unique view. This price does not include tickets - each person must purchase a General Admission ticket on top of the Premium RV Camping price. 

There will be 1 paved stall available for you to arrive on Thursday and depart the Monday after the race (at 12:00 pm). You can hook up to both water and electricity. There are also toilets and showers on the sites. 

Please note that these sites sell out very quickly (there are only around 70-80 spaces). The dimensions of the pitches are approximately 40 by 20 feet (12 by 6 metres).

Dry Camping in Lot N

This is a much cheaper option (a 1-car ticket costs around $875). The campground is located in Lot N and is an unpaved area - so you can tent camp there. From the campsite to the race track is about a 5-minute walk Additional RV services can be purchased during the race weekend, including access to showers, gas stations and fueling. All social facilities are at your disposal. But definitely bring your own food and drink.

Unofficial on-site camping option

Ruiz Parking

As far as unofficial campsites are concerned, we can recommend Ruiz Parking, which is located near the official T parking lot (exact address 9022 Elroy Rd Del Valle, TX, US 78617) - it's a 15-minute walk to the circuit.

The campground offers hot showers as well as remote toilets.
